ABC Soup-Variant 2(罗宋汤)





This is my 2nd variant of the ABC soup which uses tomato and potato.This variant of ABC is also the typical soup which you can find at your soup stalls.

Likewise for all ABC soup, it is very nutritious and consists of vitamins A, B and C.The essence of this soup consists of various root vegetables which makes the soup extremely sweet and flavourful.When it comes to making any soup stock, chefs usually use alot of root vegetables to extract the sweetness for a flavourful soup stock . Therefore, please throw away all those anchovies/chicken cubes(these destroys the natural flavours of your ingredients)

The only seasoning that you ever need is :Natural sea salt


Recipes(Prep 10 mins, Cooking time 20 mins)
(Serves 4)


Ingredients:
250g pork ribs(blanched)
240g carrots(cut into chunks)
180g potatoes(cut into chucks)
65g onion or half an onion
1600ml water
1 tomato(cut into equal 8 pieces)

Seasoning:
1 1/2 tsp sea salt

Steps:

1)Blanch pork ribs in boiling water to remove scums.Set aside.

2)Put all ingredients into pressure cooker and add in 1600ml water.

3)Pressure cook for 20 mins.

4)Release pressure and sieve off oil from soup, with a oil filter ladle.

5)Add in salt to taste.Serve.
